Don\u2019t purchase app subscriptions thru Apple or the Speechify app in particular. If you do, you could be double charged. First by Apple and then by the app company. And, your bank won\u2019t be able to help you because the duplicate charge isn\u2019t acknowledged because Apple charges a .99 service fee which makes the charge from the app company look like a separate charge instead of the duplicate charge that it is. Just so you know, Apple will reverse their charge if you call them, but then the app company will reverse your access and keep the money they should never have charged you to begin with. There will more than likely be no customer service person for the app company other than an automated email response system to explain this to, the bank will consider it a billing dispute with the merchant and won\u2019t file anything to try and get you your money back, and you will have been legally stolen from. you\u2019re welcome. My gift of experience to you!By the way, this is the 2nd time in the past year that I\u2019ve been stolen from by an app company. The other company was Effecto. They got me for 100 bucks due to entrapment within their app and misleading advertising. I think I\u2019m done buying apps.
