A Bloomington man is facing a domestic assault charge after being arrested by Minneapolis police early Tuesday morning.
According to court and jail records, Jordan Michael Retes, 36, was arrested on June 17, 2026, and later charged in Hennepin County District Court with misdemeanor domestic assault. Prosecutors allege that Retes intentionally inflicted or attempted to inflict bodily harm on another person.
The case was filed under Hennepin County case number 27-CR-26-15476. Records show Retes was released from custody after posting bond. Bail was set at $10,000 without conditions.
Retes is scheduled to make his first court appearance on June 18, 2026, in downtown Minneapolis.
As with all criminal cases, the charge is an allegation, and Retes is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
