This company is a SCAM (in my opinion). They sent out a 3rd party(Quality Air Brothers) to do a mold cleaning on our vents. They did not perform any of the services advertised. They stuck a brush into our vents, emptied out the content with nothing below to catch the debris. My son’s crib, our refrigerator water slot and every surface was covered with moldy vent debris. They replaced all of my vent screws with roofing screws??? And left big black hand marks all over the ceiling . We also purchased a UV light (at their recommendation) to keep the mold killed ($400). He taped it to the side wall of the unit and asked us for an extension cord to turn it on..????When I contacted Duct Kings, the only help they would give is referring me back to the 3rd party men (quality air brothers) who messed up my home. Then Duct King proceeded to not answer any phone calls from me after saying I had to deal with the men THEY sent to my house. Orin (quality air brothers) offered a $100 refund for the mess originally. He had every excuse as to why the job was done so horribly and even asked me why I was so “triggered by roofing screws”….?!? He insisted they were professionals though….After multiple days of back and forth he refunded a few hundred dollars. The total service was around $1,300. It has now been a month and because of the botch cleaning job and installation of a UV light, the mold problem is back and worse than ever. Our garage felt cool so after multiple days of wondering why, it dawned on us to check the A/C closet. We found the UV light dangling by one screw and a piece of tape. My husband then took off the front panel and found so much mold in our unit. They obviously pulled a fast one on us and were not qualified to do the job. I called Duct Kings today and Jamie answered like last time, told me she would talk with her team and had proceeded to screen every one of my calls since then. We will be taking legal action at this point, but buyers beware!! This company is an absolute joke. Do not spend a penny with these people.

Paid placements, not journalism.I am writing this so that the next family does not go through what mine did.I hired Value Added Moving for a cross-country move from Jersey City, NJ to Dallas, TX in May 2026. My wife was recovering from hip surgery and timely delivery of her medical equipment was a genuine need. The salesperson, Ryan James, assured me we had a full 26-foot truck reserved door-to-door, expedited delivery, and no upsells — he even noted it in the contract.Every one of those promises was broken.On move day, a subcontractor I had never heard of (S&A Moving) showed up. Once my belongings were on the truck, they raised the price from $7,300 to $9,700 — over $2,400 more. They demanded payment by Zelle only so I could not dispute the charge. My daughter’s entire room was left behind. My wife’s medical equipment sat in a warehouse for two weeks.When I called every contact at Value Added Moving — Ryan, Nicole, Michael — I was ghosted. Michael texted back a fabricated claim that he had warned me about the price increase. He had not.My items were eventually delivered on May 18 (14 days after pickup) with damaged items including a power loveseat and serving pieces. A few of the plastic bins they delivered had MELTED, which means my items were left in a warehouse with no climate control. Horrible!This is a textbook hostage moving scam.
