My experience with Safe Ship Moving Services from 2021 is briefly outlined in the instagram post below. We had a horrific experience that started when they finally showed up to our house for pickup representing a vendor named “FebEx,” which was a logo just like the “FedEx” logo only with a “b” instead of a “d.” This was not a company we had any idea we’d be doing business with when we signed with Safeship. When doing research on “FebEx” at the time, the listed address was found to be an empty building in Reno, NV.

We ended up being without all of our belongings for over 3 months, having no idea where our things were while being directed to wire more money to an unknown number from a Russian guy named “Mikhail, aka “Mike,” who told us that if he didn’t receive these funds we would never see our belongings again. Safe Ship “customer service” was farcical at best, most often would scoff that we were upset and even laughed and made fun of us at times. We were then led to invoices being transferred to/from different companies, each with a different name, contact, and address. We were working with an attorney to untangle this mess but all of those companies led to some dead end (inactive websites, phone numbers that were shut off, etc…)

The owner (Roger Vance) was stupid enough to engage in an instagram conversation with me in which he attempted to belittle my profession (I’m a D1 Power 4 collegiate swim coach), intimidate, offered to fight, and alluded to me being gay. I have all of those conversations screenshotted and saved for anyone that would like to see them.

Just want to help fight this horrible industry
