San Remo!

The “Excellence” in the times of TikTok: 7 million a month to fund the institutional circus. While the Board of Directors wraps up in the flag of “academic rigor” and demands perfection to be able to exercise our fundamental right to work, it is fascinating not to say nauseabundo to see what the money they express us with their courses and fees are spent. Let’s talk about official numbers and the level of “excellence” of its communication department. The College allocates almost 7 million monthly columns to maintain an internal Department of Communication and Marketing. They feature a director, a journalist, a graphic designer, a community manager and an audiovisual producer. But in a masterful demonstration of financial wastage, they decided that wasn’t enough and hired an outside agency (Doka Studio) for two million extra columns to do exactly the same production and network management functions. Paying twice for the same job; brilliant administrative management. And what is the big return on investment that we received from the 35 thousand aggregated we paid this financial sangria? Official misspelled warnings and AI-generated communications that they don’t even review. Insults to the aggregated, because when lawyers demand legitimate answers, their millionaire communication team publicly lists us as “trolls”. Institutional ridiculousness in video: In working hours, we are gifted TikToks of civil servants complaining about their toothaches and that they didn’t sleep well, or derogatory videos that work as a tutorial on “how to hook up a lawyer”, where they trivialize our profession and mock the dressing of Colleagues. And to crown the irony, the director of this area who receives a salary of two million colons paid by a College that suffocates us if we are late one day is gloomy in her own professional college (the College of Journalists). They demand punctuality to collect, but they don’t have it to pay. We are charged 50,000 colons for a course of ethics arguing that “ethics expire in a year”, but they do not have the pulse to waste 7 million monthly funding audiovisual clowns and doubling sheets. Next time they speak of “Excellence”, remember that for them the rigor only applies to applicants; from the doors of the College in, what reigns is waste and circus. We’re not trolls, we’re the ones paying them the party.
